Re-Use Empty Candle Jars

Writer's picture: LeeLee

Have you every had those empty Bath & Body Works candle jars and thought "This it too cute to throw away"? Now you don't have to throw it in the trash. LoveLees let's get these jars cleaned out and use these jars again.

HERE’S HOW TO DO IT:

Place your empty candle jar(s) in the freezer for about 2 hours. I set the timer on my phone so I would not forget.Once the wax cold, use a knife or butter knife to help remove the wax from the glass. Most of the time the wax comes out easily in one big chunk, and other times you have to dig it out in several pieces. The side label comes off easily with one pull, and doesn’t leave any residue behind. Yassss! Now it’s the bottom sticker that leaves behind a sticky residue. After the jar is back to room temperature, simply place it in a bowl of hot water so that the sticker on the bottom is completely submerged. Wait about 10 minutes, and BAM! The sticker will scrape right off.To remove the excess sticker residue, you can simply use a Brillo soap pad.

Now, wash the jars and lids with dish soap and water, and you’re done! Now you can fill your jars with anything small (q-tips, cotton balls & paper clips) and put it on display in your bathroom or home office.

Wow!!! Cute Q-tip
