Hey my LoveLees!
In the words of my girl Erika Badu “Sisters how y’all feelin? Brothers y’all alright?” Seriously I hope everyone has been doing well while on quarantine. Personally my emotions have been all over the place. Nothing has changed for me work wise because I’m a work from home mommy (WFHM). However, I’m not used to having my fiancé and son out in the trenches during a pandemic everyday and it begin to give me anxiety.

Between the schools being closed for the rest of the school year in my county. To the feelings of sadness for my son who is a senior in high school Missing out on senior activities. Lastly seeing all the news reports and stories on social media about the thousands of people dying from this virus. All those emotions took a toll on me. I had a full blown panic attack.

My faith is usually very strong but the devil tried to allow me to give in to fear briefly. After a hearty prayer session with my fiancé, worship music and some breathing exercises, I was back to feeling like myself again. Although I’m being very cautious and staying at home I briefly let fear creep into my spirit. I serve a mighty God who is able to heal our land.
So I want to encourage you today not to be afraid. Here are a few ways to get stress relief during this difficult time. 1. Put your trust in God. Lean on your faith.
2. By all means stay safe and practice social distancing.
3. Comply with your local rules and regulations.
4. Appreciate this time at home with your family.
5. Get your proper rest and relaxation.
6. Take a break from social media if needed.
7. Go outside on the porch or patio for some fresh air.
8. Connect with your family and friends over the phone or virtually.
9. Get some exercise into your routine.
10. Eat proper meals and drink plenty of water.
Don't give up! We will all get through this together. Love Lee!
